Taking a walk around a foggy neighborhood, talking with Agey on the phone, eating yams with melty marshmallow as well as warm muffins from the oven, washing it all down with a cup of hot tea in the attic, singing about dream trees and ash groves with Katie as Hurricane Earl drizzles and blusters outside. Reading Ella Enchanted aloud, wearing Granmummy's slip to bed...feeling as if Apple Tree is starting to be home.
